Samsung One UI 4.1.1 update now live for Galaxy S22 in the US

Samsung is running its Android 13-based One UI 5.0 second Beta program for Galaxy S22 series in the US, whereas the Galaxy S21 series smartphone users are also testing the One UI 5 features in some countries. Now one more update is released for the devices.

Recently, Samsung and Verizon have released the One UI 4.1.1 update to the consumers of the Galaxy S22 series in the United States. The users of the devices can now download and install the One UI 4.1.1 update via the One UI build versions mentioned below.

Along with the One UI 4.1.1, this latest update also includes the patch released in the month of August. Furthermore, the support page also revealed several new features that the One UI 4.1.1 brings to the Galaxy S22 users.

But currently, it’s not confirmed whether the One UI 4.1.1 is bringing the Android 12L to Galaxy S22 series or is still based on the Android 12 OS. However, Verizon consumers can now download and install the update by visiting the settings section of their phone.

According to the changelog, the One UI 4.1.1 update includes a new function for Private Share, which allows you to edit names once files are shared through private sharing. You can edit the name by opening Private Share, followed by select sent or received files > select the 3 dots for more options > select Edit name.

Additionally, the Multi View feature is enhanced with the One UI 4.1.1 in order to fit your daily usage style. Now, you can select Multi View controls from the Smart View drop-down list and the Multi-View options window will appear.
