Samsung One UI 4.1.1 New App Edge Panel

With the launch of Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 smartphones, Samsung released its One UI 4.1.1 custom skin, which later get expanded for Galaxy Tab S8, and now the Galaxy S22 series users in the US are eligible to download this latest update on their devices.

Samsung One UI 4.1.1 brought several new and enhanced features which will give users a remarkable experience. The features include improved multitasking, quick access between the split screen and pop-up windows, an optimized app edge panel, and more.

The Edge panel makes the work of a user more easy as it keeps the most important features of your phone pleated to one side, that you can use directly without getting troubled. This edge panel can also be used to access your favorite contacts, apps, and webpages and more.

Now after upgrading over One UI 4.1.1 users will be able to see the name of the application just below the app icon in the edge panel. Which will help them to identify the apps quickly without getting confused while running or opening the edge panel.

Earlier there were only the icons that were shown in the panel the name of the apps was not visible which makes confusion in identifying the application quickly, but now the problem has been solved you can enable the name of the app from the settings of your phone.

Users can enable the edge panel on their smartphone running One UI 4.1.1 and it’s very easy, just after enabling the edge panel you can also enable the show app name function from the menu option, in the settings section you will see the app name function toggle it on and its done.

However, the show app name in the edge panel feature is also available in the Android 13-based One UI 5 beta program. It means most Galaxy users will receive this great feature in the coming weeks.
