Samsung Galaxy M23 received its first major update in the form of Android 13-based One UI 5.0, the device was launched earlier this year with One UI 4.1 based on Android 12. This update contains lots of optimizations compared to the previous UI.

As per the information, users of Samsung Galaxy M23 will be able to identify the latest Android 13-based One UI 5.0 major software update via the One UI build version M236BXXU1BVK5 and need to install a light wait package to experience these latest offerings.
Moving on, the latest version update also contains the November 2022 monthly security patch for better system security and stability. Whereas, the other device owners have already begun receiving the December 2022 Android patch with optimizations.
Based on Android 13 Samsung One UI 5.0 update brings lots of new features including new stack widgets, the ability to disable RAM Plus, Lockdown mode, improved Notification settings, new features in the camera and gallery app, and lots more.
To be mentioned, the update is currently rolling out in Europe, however, it will expand to more region users soon.
