WhatsApp rolling out automatic photos and videos group feature for channels

WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature that will automatically group similar photos and videos shared on channels. This new advancement will enhance the user experience by improving the organization of media shared in channels and grouping them in an album.

The group photos and video feature will work when admins of channels share multiple consecutive images or videos. WhatsApp now automatically organizes them into a unified album, and channel followers can conveniently tap on the automatic album to access the entire collection.

This not only provides a more visually appealing presentation but also offers increased accessibility for channel followers. To be mentioned, it’s just like the feature, that we using for years in groups and chats.

Notably, this feature to automatically group consecutive photos and videos in channels is rolling out with WhatsApp version 2.23.26.16 and is available to some beta testers on Android. However, WhatsApp may start its public rollout soon.
