After the initial rollout in South American countries, Samsung has now released the December 2023 Android security update for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra devices in the US.
As per the details, the December 2023 update is currently released for the locked variants of Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra devices on the Verizon network in the US. However, the unlocked models will also collect the patch soon.

This new security patch will improve the core mechanism of your Galaxy devices and offer increased security, ensuring that user’s data and sensitive information remain safe and secure. It will also fix over 60 CVEs and SVEs to maintain stability.
Additionally, the patch helps to resolve any bugs or glitches that may have been discovered in the system, reducing the risk of system crashes and data loss. Therefore, to install the update visit Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
