Samsung One UI 5.0 Modes

Samsung has released the third One UI 5.0 beta update for the Galaxy S22 smartphone, which comes with a slew of improvements. Apart from these improvements, the company has unveiled a new tab called One UI 5 “Modes”.

The “Mode” feature is a new addition to the “Settings” menu in One UI 5. It allows you to add, remove and edit a variety of modes and routines. “Mode” is a machine-based service designed to adapt to your life and suggest ways to streamline your phone time.

One UI 5.0 Modes:

One UI 5 has provided an easy way to open the mode, which is better than before. You can now open it directly by going to the settings of your smartphone.

Now you can choose from a variety of modes depending on your activity or location. Your smartphone’s settings will automatically adjust to match your activity and situation.

This section has two parts, Mode and Routine. You can change them by tapping on the options below.

Modes

  •  Sleep
  • Driving
  • Exercise
  • Relax
  • Work
  • Custom
  • Can add more…

Routines

You can add your daily routine tasks or anything else you want to do on time here. You can add the starting time and what you would like to open first just by taking the mobile in your hand.

Routines can be activated in different locations by adding them to the settings. To do this, you’ll need to turn on Location and improve location accuracy in the Google Location accuracy setting.

How to add Mode or Routine?

It’s easy to add mods or routines to your Galaxy device. Simply follow the below steps.

  • Open Settings on your Samsung smartphone.
  • Click Modes options.
  • Press the Plus button which is located in the right corner.
  • A create mode pop-up window appears, click on Custom.
  • Here you can set the name, color, and symbol.
  • Tap on Done
