While their successors are believed to be coming later this year, it looks like the Korean company has abandoned the ‘Classic’ model. But that does not mean that the company will release only one Galaxy Watch this year, Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will replace the Galaxy Watch 5 Classic.
Further, the Galaxy Watch Classic line has always had a physically rotating bezel which has helped Samsung’s smartwatches stand out from the pack. While at this moment, it’s unclear whether the Pro variant will feature a rotatable bezel or not.
Besides, the report also claims that Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 will come in two sizes, whereas, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro could only feature a single size. The rumor correspondingly seems to point to the Pro model sporting a really huge battery life.
According to the South Korean regulatory listing, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will come with a 572mAh battery. This is an overall increase of 60% battery capacity when compared to the current 44 and 46mm models of the Galaxy Watch 4/Classic.
On the other hand, SamMobile also claims that Galaxy Watch 5 will run a new version of One UI Watch which will be based on Wear OS 3. Additionally, we can expect that the device could come with further improvements and added new features.
