Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 certified by SIRIM database

Samsung is gearing up to launch a new rugged smartphone – Galaxy XCover 7 and its arrival on different platforms hints at the imminent launch. The upcoming  Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 device has recently been certified by the SIRIM database, confirming its debut in Malaysia.

According to the details, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 has received the SIRIM certification with the equipment registration number RGQL/02G/1223/S(23-5865). Accordingly, the device has been listed on the database with the model number – SM-G556B.

Other than the model number the database of Malaysia didn’t reveal any further details about the successor of Galaxy XCover 6 Pro. Based on previous leaks it can be said that this smartphone will come with some upgraded software and hardware capabilities.

The device will likely run on Android 14-based One UI 6.0 custom skin out of the box. However, key details like pricing and availability of the device are still unclear. But Samsung might wrap out curtains from this great device in the first quarter of 2024.
