Google Pixel 8 could use Samsung’s ISOCELL GN2 camera sensor

As per recent information, the Google Pixel 8 series is said to feature an upgraded camera sensor offered by the Korean tech giant. Samsung’s latest ISOCELL GN2 camera sensor could be the latest to use in the Google Pixel 8 device.

Google is improving its functionalities term by term and now with this upcoming Pixel model, Google will provide users with an immense experience of photography just like the Galaxy users with an ISOCELL GN2 camera sensor.

Recently, Kuba Wojciechowski revealed that the latest version of the Google Camera Go app has gained support for the Staggered HDR feature, and this hints that the company is planning to offer Pixel users incredible photo and video capabilities.

Samsung’s ISOCELL GN2’s Staggered HDR camera sensor is a better and more efficient way to capture images with a wide dynamic range. The company claims the new sensor is 24% more power efficient due to its newer method of capturing images and features an improved autofocus mechanism called Dual Pixel Pro.
