After the initial rollout in European countries, the December 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra has now reached the US. However, the other market owners will also acquire the patch in the coming days or weeks.
This new security patch will improve the core mechanism of your device and enhance its security and stability grades for a more protected user experience. In addition, the update will also resolve over 65 vulnerability exposures from Google and Samsung to maintain reliability.

The consumers of Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra will be able to determine the December 2023 update via the One UI build version G991U1UEU9EWL2, G996U1UEU9EWL2, and G998U1UEU9EWL2 respectively in the US.
To check and download the update manually users can visit the Settings of their smartphone and tap on the Software Update menu. Now, hit the Download & Install key and follow the onscreen instructions.
