YouTube Music adds play counts for every song

YouTube Music getting optimized day by day, as now it will show play counts for every song. Which will allow users to know, how many people have listened to this track. To be mentioned, this tweak is rolling out on both Android and iOS devices.

As per the information, this new addition will occur as soon as you view an album or public playlist created by YouTube Music, you’ll now see the play count for every track. It’s on the same line as the artist’s name and song length.

This option to show play counts for every song will allow users to experience a lot more like the main video service. This addition may make album pages feel a little bit crowded for some with the implementation as a dedicated column on the web much nicer.

It’s also worth mentioning that, this information was previously available in “Song details” at the bottom of the Now Playing Related tab, but it does not appear for your or other user-created playlists.
