WhatsApp will soon allow channel owners to invite new admins

WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature, which allows channel owners to invite new admins to manage. This feature will enhance the engagement capabilities of WhatsApp channels, allowing owners to choose additional admins to help them handle the channel.

This new feature is available in the channel info screen, allowing channel owners to invite administrators. The owners of the channel will now be able to add up to 15 new admins, with the flexibility to invite up to 15 contacts, after accepting administrative access invitations.

A channel admin can modify the channel name, icon, description, and settings, managing which emojis can be used for update reactions. This feature is currently available for some beta testers and could be available to more soon.

The new administrators can contribute to increasing channel activity and efficiency by assisting in posting and managing additional content and ensuring regular updates. It’s important to mention that channel admins are restricted from deleting the channel, safeguarding the integrity and continuity of the channel.
