WhatsApp will allow Web clients to create username for their Account

We earlier heard that, WhatsApp is working on a feature that allows user to create username for their account to enhance privacy, right? So here is one more good news, as WhatsApp will also permit its Web client to create username for accounts just like on the Android App.

According to the information, WhatsApp is currently working on a feature to allow users to create username for both Android and Web. This will let them personalize their profiles and easily connect with friends, family, and others using a unique identifier, just like we do on Instagram.

This development marks a significant step towards enhancing privacy and ease of communication within the WhatsApp ecosystem. Once users have chosen their unique username on the web client, they will have the flexibility to connect with others without the necessity of sharing phone numbers.

However, this feature to allow users to create a username is under development and it will be available in a future update of the web client.
