WhatsApp soon allows users to share music audio during a video call

WhatsApp is working on a feature that allows users to share music audio during video calls. This enhancement will enrich the user experience, allowing users to share not only visual content but also audio, creating a more interactive communication environment.

It’s worth mentioning that, WhatsApp users will only be able to share music audio during a video call, while the screen-sharing option is active. It means any audio played on your device with the screen-sharing option enabled will be shared with others in the video call.

This upcoming addition facilitates multimedia collaboration by enabling users to collectively listen to video and music audio on a video call. It will open up new possibilities for collaboration, such as discussing and enjoying multimedia content together in real time.

However, the ability to share music audio during a video call is currently under development and it will be available in a future update of the app.
