These Samsung Galaxy devices are eligible for Galaxy AI and One UI 6.1

Samsung One UI 6.1

Samsung introduced the Galaxy S24 series at the Galaxy Unpacked January 2024 event. The latest flagship series comes with the Galaxy AI capabilities and One UI 6.1 features.

In a new development, Samsung confirmed which Galaxy devices will receive Galaxy AI features and One UI 6.1 update.

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy AI experience will be available on many Galaxy devices within the first half of the year. However, Samsung confirmed to AndroidAuthority (via email) which Galaxy devices are eligible for Galaxy AI-loaded One UI 6.1 update.

According to the info, Galaxy S24’s Galaxy AI features will be rolled out to Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, S23 Ultra, S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Fold 5, Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus, and Tab S9 Ultra. It doesn’t mean that the Galaxy S22 and S21 series are excluded, however, they just don’t get mentioned.

Many of the Galaxy AI features introduced on Galaxy S24 will also be supported on previous models including Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series within 1H 2024. Please stay tuned for more details. – Samsung confirmed to AndroidAuthority via email.

Samsung, at the event, showcased some of the most striking One UI 6.1 features including Live Translate, Chat Assist, enhanced Android Auto, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Circle to Search, upgraded Nightography capabilities, Galaxy AI editing tools, Edit Suggestion and Instant Slow-mo.
