Samsung unveiled its first-ever Global Goals band for Watch 4 and Watch 5

In 2015, world leaders developed the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, also known as the Global Goals, to make the world a better place by 2030. Now, Samsung released the new Global Goals Band and 2 watch faces for the Galaxy Watch 4, the Watch. 4 Classic, Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro devices.

By releasing the new Global Goals watch accessories, Samsung represents one small, meaningful step toward achieving the collective goal. Not to mention, the company launched its first global goals band for the Watch 4 and Watch 5 at the Unpacked event.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Global Goals Bands

Samsung said 5% of each global target band purchased will be donated to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), furthering their global work in developing sustainable policies and building resilient institutions in more than 170 worldwide.

The new watch accessories are expected to be available in these countries:

  2. Denmark
  3. Finland
  4. France
  5. Germany
  6. Italy
  7. The Netherlands
  8. Norway
  9. Portugal
  10. South Korea
  11. Spain
  12. Sweden
  13. The United States
  14. The United Kingdom.

In addition to the new bands for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series, Samsung has also released two new Global Goals watch faces for global users, which are integrated with the Global Goals app. The new watch faces share thought-provoking quotes related to the Goals, so Galaxy users can easily learn more about the Global Goals.

Back in 2019, Samsung collaborated with UNDP to create the Global Goals app, which helps accelerate global progress by 2030. As of now, the Global Goals app is installed in over 200 million Galaxy devices globally, generating funds for UNDP’s global initiative. ,
