  • The watch offers various health and fitness features at a competitive price point.
  • Available in June (Bluetooth) and October (LTE) with multiple color options.

Samsung’s typical unveiling schedule just got shaken up. While the tech giant gears up for its upcoming Unpacked event rumored to showcase the Galaxy Watch 7 series, it has unexpectedly released the Galaxy Watch FE, a new smartwatch. This move throws a curveball, launching the FE variant before its presumed flagship counterpart.

The Galaxy Watch FE, belonging to Samsung’s budget-conscious FE (Fan Edition) line, presents a compelling option for those seeking a feature-packed smartwatch without breaking the bank. Offered in a single 40mm size, it retains the classic circular design synonymous with the Galaxy Watch series.

For a touch of personalization, Samsung introduces the watch in three colors – Black, Pink Gold, and Silver – accompanied by new watch bands with distinct blue and orange stitching. The one-click band system allows users to effortlessly swap bands and adapt their style on the go.

Durability remains a priority, evident in the watch’s tough exterior shielded by sapphire crystal glass for enhanced protection. Health and fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the presence of Samsung’s BioActive Sensor. This sensor unlocks a comprehensive suite of health-tracking features, including irregular heart rhythm notification, HR Alert for abnormal heart rates, blood pressure monitoring, and ECG functionality.

Workout tracking shines with support for over 100 exercises. Runners can leverage advanced running analysis to optimize their performance. Body composition data can also be tracked with this versatile smartwatch.

The Galaxy Watch FE prioritizes accessibility with a starting price of $199 for the Bluetooth model, launching in the United States on June 24th, 2024. It will be available for purchase through Samsung’s online store, major carriers, and retailers. An LTE variant, priced at $250, is slated for arrival in October.
