Samsung has started the internal testing of upcoming Android custom skin – One UI 6.1 for its four latest foldable devices including Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4. However, the testing is already live on Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S22 series models.

According to the information of TarunVats, Samsung is testing the One UI 6.1 software for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4 with PDA version F946BXXU1CXA1, F731BXXU1CXA1, F936BXXU4FXA3, and F721BXXU4FXA3 respectively.

Also, the testing for the latest foldable phones is currently taking place in India, as its CSC code mentions INS. However, this development hints that the consumers of Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 5 and Fold/Flip 4 will soon be able to enjoy the offerings of the next One UI iteration.

Samsung will unveil One UI 6.1 based on the Android 14 operating system on January 17, 2024, at the Galaxy Unpacked Event. The One UI 6.1 will come pre-installed on the Galaxy S24 series and bring bundles of prominent features and optimizations to elevate the user’s experience.
