CVPR is a world-famous and renowned international conference for Artificial Intelligence (AI) that is co-hosted by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Computer Vision Foundation (CVF).
It is running since 1983 and among the world’s three most significant international conferences. Samsung is going to represent twenty research papers at Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) conference 2022.
This CVPR 2022 will be held from June 19 to June 2022 in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S. This hybrid event will be held both in person and online medium. The research paper that are submitted for the research conference came from Samsung Artificial Intelligence research centers spread all over the world.
The first two oral presentations came from the Toronto AI center that focuses on the Probabilistic Procedure Planning from Instructional Videos with Weak Supervision. This study is done to build the next-level system that could mimic exactly how humans behave.
The second oral represents the Day to Night image synthesis for training the Nighttime Neutral ISPs. This study focuses on how to synthesize the nighttime image data needed to train Night Mode by using a neutral Image Signal Processor on the Smartphone Cameras.
Other papers are also being represented at CVPR 2022 that overall represents Samsung’s spanning approaches contributing towards the advances and developments in the field of AI technology. Samsung’s action has gathered the attention of other research firms and institutes that are already trying to give a boost to their academics.
