One UI 6 stable update issues

Samsung preps to optimize Widget Animations with One UI 6 November 2023 update

Samsung has tested its latest iteration of One UI for a long time and has now finally released the stable version for Galaxy S23. The Korean tech giant has worked tirelessly to provide relevant experience to its users, but some parts remain unrefined such as Widget Animation.

Some users reported issues with the animation of returning to the home screen after using a wide. However, it is worth mentioning that this is the only case with users who have enabled the Swipe gesture in multiple directions option in the navigation settings.

Users who use Button-type navigation or Swipe gestures from bottom to top do not experience this problem. So to resolve issues in this section, Samsung is preparing a new One UI 6 November 2023 update, aiming to optimize widget animations and enhance user experience.

Samsung moderation states

  • The team is working hard to provide optimized animations for the widget and gesture combination. The company will fix the issue with the November 2023 software update.
  • Users that other improvements that were not fully reflected during the beta period will continue to be implemented even after the official release of One UI 6.

With the upcoming update, Samsung is focusing on improving the performance and visual appeal of widgets, allowing users to enjoy a smoother and more immersive interface.
