Samsung Phone app now available for Windows

Samsung Phone Windows

Samsung Phone is an application that has been only available on Galaxy smartphones and tablets so far, however, the Korean tech maker now made it available for Galaxy devices running Windows. It means users will now be able to make calls using Galaxy Book laptops.

This Samsung Phone app support on Windows will make it easier for users to text and call using Galaxy Book laptops when paired with Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Also, the app is currently available for Galaxy Book 4 laptops and can be downloaded through Microsoft Store.

However, there seems to be no need to use a separate number or eSIM, as Samsung may allow Galaxy smartphone users to use the same number from their phones on their Galaxy Book laptops to make calls.

The app will display pop-up notifications for calls when they arrive on a Galaxy smartphone, users can answer or reject calls and even send a quick message from that pop-up window. Therefore, this addition will offer a seamless experience to Galaxy users.

The app description on the Microsoft Store reads,

  • Never miss an important call again. Use the phone number and mobile plan from your Galaxy phone to make and receive calls on your PC.
