With Android 13-based One UI 5, the company has brought a change in the emergency contact list that we used to create earlier on our Galaxy devices. These minor changes will bring huge modifications to the contact list as the company is integrating its emergency contact list.

Here’s what Samsung stated

Create an emergency contact list that includes the people you want to contact in case of an emergency. The same contact list can be used for emergency features on both your watch and your phone.

The numbers that you will add to your phone’s emergency contacts list, will be simultaneously used on your watch emergency features. This means now you do not have to create a separate emergency contact list for both of your Galaxy-powered devices.

Samsung tries to make things easier for its users, so to make their life more convenient, the company integrated its emergency contact list with Galaxy’s wearable emergency feature. With this major Android OS, users will need to create only one emergency list which will work on both Galaxy Watch and Galaxy phones.

At this time, its important to create an emergency contact list, because now we have a huge number on our contact list, among which some are connected to personal life and some professional ones. In the case of an actual emergency, an emergency contact list could save your time, stress, and even the lives of family members.
