Samsung has officially announced to launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphones with new color shades on August 10. While the company is yet to reveal any detail on the design of the upcoming devices, a reliable tipster told us that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will feature a wider cover display.

A well-known tipster Ice Universe has recently shared images of the upcoming foldable phone that show that the company has thinned the metal frames near the hinge to increase the display size, which looks similar to the Vivo X Fold.
The tipster further compared the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 with the Galaxy Z Fold 3, which clearly shows that the upcoming model has a wider cover display. However, the new device looks slightly shorter than the present one.
In my view, a wider cover display will be great. It will make it so much easier to use the phone without having to unfold it every time and will definitely improve the usability of such a pricier phone.

While the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will launch on August 10, Samsung has already started its pre-reservation in the United States. The company is bringing up to $200 credit for the customers who will pre-book the phone.
