After rolling out for some mid-range, flagships and foldable smartphones, the Korean tech giant has now started sending the January 2023 security patch update for Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone users in the US.

January 2023 security patch update has arrived with the One UI build version  S901U1UES2BVL4, S906U1UES2BVL4, S908U1UES2BVL4 for Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones in the US respectively.

According to the information, the January 2023 update works for the betterment of the core of your Galaxy device and enhances security and stability by optimizing the overall performance. It also settles some common bugs found in the system.

Moving on, the company has also shared the details of this January 2023 patch which mentions fixes for a total of 70 exposures including 52 CVES and 20 SVEs of Google and Samsung. Other than this there is nothing that the update brings to your device.

However, if you are a user of a Galaxy S22 smartphone an d residing in the US then you can manually download this update on your device to do so, visit the Settings of your phone, now scroll down and tap on the Software update menu and now click on the Downlaod & Install button.

Samsung is also going to introduce the successor of the Galaxy S22 series in the form of the Galaxy S23 lineup which will come with some refined upgrades compared to its predecessor. As of now, there is no official date announced but we can expect its unveiling in the month of February
