Talking about the adaptations, so the changelog of this 2nd January 2023 update does not carry any major changes or features for your Galaxy S22 smartphones. Instead, it only mentions the common optimizations and security improvements.

But as the rollout of the same update has happened twice it may contain some significant changes or fixes, which the users will encounter after installing the latest version. So we recommend owners of Galaxy S22 devices to install the firmware as soon as it arrives.

To be mentioned, the Galaxy S22 smartphones are also testing the One UI 5.1 software version which will be unveiled on February 1st. This update could be a stability booster before the stable rollout of One UI 5.1 based on Android 13.
