Samsung released July 2022 security patch update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra models with minor enhancements at the T-Mobile network in the United States. The update will protect your phone from bugs and viruses and improves the system’s security and stability.

Users of Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra can identify the latest update via the One UI build version S901U1UEU2AVF7, S906U1UEU2AVF7, and S908U1UEU2AVF7 respectively at T-Mobile USA. And, it comes with an updated package size of around 520MB.

Further, the company’s July 2022 security patch details, on the other hand, mention fixes for multiple privacy and security-related issues and exploits from Google and Samsung to boost the overall device’s functionality. However, the official support page reveals 41 CVE and SVE items that are related to the Messages app, Wearable Manager Installer, Samsung Finder, Samsung Finder, Knoxguard lock, and others.

This July 2022 security update also added a new Purple color stock wallpaper to the Galaxy S22 series devices. After updating your phone, you can find out the new wallpaper in the My wallpaper section that can be navigated by pressing and holding on a blank area on the Home screen >> Wallpaper and style.

To download this update to your phone, head over to your phone’s Settings. Scroll down to enter the Software update section then tap the Download and install option. Wait for the device to check available updates, hit the Download button, and then follow the instructions mentioned on your Galaxy S22 screen.
