[Update: LTE] Samsung Galaxy S20 FE getting April 2022 security update in Europe

Most recently, Samsung released the April 2022 Android Security update for Galaxy S20 FE LTE users in certain areas. Meanwhile, the company is currently launching the latest software upgrade for the 5G variant of the device.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G gets a security update in April 2022 in European markets. This update focuses primarily on establishing enhanced security and stability for your device and improving performance.

At the same time, Samsung’s April 2022 security patch update details 88 privacy and security vulnerabilities from Google and Samsung, including 27 high and 18 medium CPU levels.

These vulnerabilities are related to incorrect access controls in S Secure, Samsung Contacts application, Knox Manage, StroageManager, StroageManagerService, One UI Home, Samsung DeX Home, and more.

This update comes with One UI build version G781BXXU4FVC4 and is released for Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the Nordic region, and the UK users.

You can download this software update by visiting the Settings of your smartphones. From here tap on System update and then click on Download and install. Wait for the phone to check for the available software rollout and fetch it on your smartphone.

Before, you begin, make sure that you backup your important data, so you won’t lose any important files. Although the upgrade procedure won’t replace or remove any of the corresponding data from your smartphone, it’s recommended to do so for extra safety measures.
