Samsung is testing the new iteration of One UI for eligible devices and for the users of the Galaxy S20 lineup, the One UI 5.1 rollout is a big confusion as the devices have completed their software update support. But it seems like Samsung has made a plan to retire Galaxy S20 devices with One UI 5.1 software.
According to new information, Checkfirm has detected a new build for the Samsung Galaxy S20 variant that hints at the development of One UI 5.1 for the device. However, the testing is conducted for the LTE variant of the Galaxy S20 smartphone in India as the CSC code mentions INU.
The latest test build for Indian Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphones has appeared with the PDA version number G980FXXUFHWA1. The Galaxy S20 lineup is currently running on One UI 5.0 custom skin based on Android 13 and the One UI 5.1 will make it better to endure.
One UI 5.1 the upcoming custom skin of the Korean tech firm is said to debut pre-packed with the Samsung Galaxy S23 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event 2023 on February 1st. This latest update will make the Galaxy S20, S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra more feature-rich smartphones compared to now.
As of now, nothing can be said confirmed about when the device will get its next and last major update in the form of One UI 5.1 software based on Android 13. But it’s good to see that the Korean tech giant has taken a decision in favor of Galaxy S20 users.
