Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was launched with Android 8 OS in mid-2018 and later received Android 9 and Android 10 OS updates. Last month, Samsung officially ended the software update support for the Galaxy S9 smartphones. While the Note is currently eligible for a few security patches, it will also stop getting the update by the end of this year.
According to new information, Samsung has started sending the May 2022 Android security patch update for the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone users in Europe. The company has seeded many devices with this security patch earlier and some are yet left.
The latest May 2022 update can be identified via One UI build version N960FXXS9FVE1, and it aims at protecting your phone from bugs and viruses and improving the security and stability of the system.

Notably, the fresh Galaxy Note 9 update is being released for German users at a moment. However, as soon as the company will ensure its security and stability, it will make a wider rollout in other regions as well.
