Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones have started getting September 2022 Android security updates for Verizon-locked models in the US. This update comes with some minor improvements and bug fixes.

In its September 2022 security patch details, Samsung describes a number of privacy and security-related issues that it has resolved, including 29 SVE items from Samsung One UI software and 21 high levels and 3 moderate levels of CVE items from Google Android OS.

In addition to the September 2022 update, Verizon has also improved the security of your Samsung Galaxy Note 20 smartphone. This will allow you to ensure that your private files and data are securely stored on your device.

Additionally, another common function of this update is to increase system stability. It offers customers fast and smooth performance on their phones along with minimizing crashing, lagging, and jerking issues.

Apart from the official changelog, there might be some other minor system improvements after you update your phone to its latest version. These improvements can be identified by version numbers N981USQU3FVI5 and N986USQU3FVI5  for the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra respectively.

To get this update, go to your Phone’s Settings, scroll down to the Software update section, and select “Download and install.” Once the Download starts, it will install automatically.
