Samsung has already begun the rollout of the January 2024 update for some of its eligible Galaxy devices and on the other side the Galaxy A22 5G has now only joined December 2023 security patch batch. However, the update is already live for LTE variants.
According to the details, the owners of Samsung Galaxy A22 5G will be able to determine the December 2023 update via the build version A226BXXS9DWL1. Consequently, the patch is currently live in India and will expand to more region users soon.
Being a regular monthly security patch, the update will improve core mechanism of your handy gadget and enhance its security and stability, ensuring that user’s data and sensitive information remain secure. It will also resolve over 65 vulnerabilities to maintain the device’s reliability.
However, if you own a Galaxy A22 5G model and reside in India, then you must have received the latest patch notification. In case the update has not reached you yet, then you can check for it manually through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
