The main CPU ~Samsung’s foldable phones usually follow from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon~. Nevertheless, a recent rumor predicts that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will break the tradition and instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon, it will have Exynos chipsets as the powerful option.
These rumors are based on a recent ingenuity from tech insider Revenue, who believes that the Exynos 2400 CoC could be what makes the Flip 6 a handheld. Probably it would not be too unusual to see that Exynos chipsets in Korean manufacturing have always been the best choice for the manufacturer as it saves them money and gives them the ability to keep pace with other competitors in the market, even It is possible This is being considered a great step by Samsung.
Good to go, still, this could be Samsung’s new kind of mobile foldables strategy. Well, the company is currently pushing the use of a dual-chip approach for these devices which gives consumers the flexibility to purchase a model based on their regional availability or high-performance needs. Likewise, this Exynos treatment is not known to work as well for the 6th generation, more expensive, Galaxy Zfold6 which as of now uses Snapdragon processors.
One thing is for sure: Samsung, apparently, wasted no time in revealing which CPU will be used in the new foldable phone lineup. It may also enable the use of new angles that will improve efficiency, reduce costs, or enhance service delivery. We’ll have to wait and see how Samsung continues with its plans for the Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6.
