Earlier, Korea Economic Daily reported that the South Korean tech giant is stimulating the process of a “weekend duty system.” This means the engineers working in semiconductor production sites only work from Friday to Sunday.
But Samsung Electronics has recently made a statement that clearly stated that it’s not true. The company is listening to various ideas from employees for a better and more efficient working environment, but it has not yet adopted or finalized anything like the weekend duty system.
It’s true that the company is gathering different ideas from workers so that they can work in a more efficient working environment, but the introduction of a dedicated weekend system has not yet been adopted. At last Samsung Electronics also ask to refrain from inaccurate reports and interpretations.
