One UI Watch 5 software came pe installed on Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic, the Korean tech maker later expanded its reach to Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4 models. Meanwhile, some functionalities of One UI Watch 5 seem to be available for Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 users.
Earlier, Samsung stated that the wearable running in TizenOS will not get upgraded to One UI Watch 5 software based on WearOS 4. But it confirmed the rollout of some of the latest watch faces to Galaxy Watch 3 and Watch Active 2 in the future and finally, it’s happening.
As per the latest information, Samsung dispatched a new update for Galaxy Watch 3 devices which brings two new One UI Watch 5 faces including Stretched Time and Perpetual, to give a distinctive look to their old smartwatch and offer users an optimized experience.
Other than the two new watch faces, the latest update may also improve the stability of your Galaxy Watch and protect it from harmful threats. However, the update is currently live in Europe and consumers can identify it via the build version R840XXU1DWK2/R850XXU1DWK2.
So if you get bored with your old Galaxy Watch and currently have no plans to upgrade it. Then download the latest update through the Samsung Wearable app > Software updates section > Download and install key and enjoy new watch faces.
