Samsung recently addressed security and connectivity issues through a series of updates that cover the firmware of Samsung’s most popular devices.

The Galaxy Tab S7, which launched in August 2020, has received an update to its software and now offers the latest April 2024 security patch point. The most prominent improvement is the plugin for security breaches found in late software releases thus protecting the tablet from any kind of possible cyber intrusions. Initially, the update will be made available in India and Sri Lanka first but soon it will be made available in other regions as well.

The path to the firmware update for Tab S7 users in the listed states is via “Settings” > “Software Update” > “Download and Install”. However, the convenience of directly flashing firmware through a mobile app may prove more attractive to these users.

The major Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update will not be available for the Galaxy Tab S7 after the phone is discontinued, but users will continue to receive regular security patches that will help provide a more secure environment. Even though the Galaxy Tab S9 is a better option than the Galaxy Tab S, it is not the right choice for those who want the latest tablet with top performance, innovative features, and potential access to the latest Google Android versions.

Nevertheless, Samsung has pushed out an update to the software, which is specifically for all Galaxy A55 phones (SM-A556B) sold in Europe. This article is designed to provide you with information on how to improve the functioning of the device with 4G TDD networks. Although the actual benefits to users are currently under wraps, we can assume faster and better-combined connections for individuals who rely on 4G TDD infrastructure.

The compatibility of Galaxy A55 models purchased in Germany with LTE TDD is restricted in several European countries and is not supported in Belgium, Denmark, and France as well as other states. The update will change the firmware version of the smartphone from A556BXXU1AXC4 to A7XXMUBS2ASCF. European A55 owners should be aware of the automatic update notifications they receive. Next, the update that needs to be checked for manually can be found under “Settings” > “Software Update”.

Samsung demonstrates this source of user assurance in its networks by providing security enhancements as well as improved network performance for devices with a variety of uses.
