In a recent development, Samsung has started testing the Galaxy Z Fold 3 One UI 5.0 update. However, there is no information about when the trial period will end and when it will be officially released.

Meanwhile, the company will soon release a beta version of One UI 5.0 for Galaxy Z Fold 3 users, which will let customers test out new features and changes to ensure its stability.

One UI 4.1.1 not coming?

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 One UI 5.0 update is under testing but does this mean that the device is not coming with One UI 4.1? Nothing can be clarified at the moment.

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Z Fold 4 with Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 OS and it is unlikely that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will get One UI 5.0 Beta before the Fold 4.

It is possible that the company will release the One UI 4.1.1 update for this device in the coming month and later it will start One UI 5.0 beta testing. There is also a possibility that it will skip One UI 4.1.1 and go straight to the One UI 5.0 version.

The Fold 3 is worthy and highly anticipated for both Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 and Android 13-based One UI 5.0. Both the new OS have their own goodness and new features, whereas, they also share some similar new features.

One UI 4.1.1 and One UI 5.0 both come with advanced multitasking features that enable users to operate multiple apps at the same time on their large-screen devices.

Additionally, there’s Bixby Vision OCR (optical character recognition) integration with apps like Gallery, Camera, and Samsung Internet. So if the company drops One UI 4.1.1, users will not regret it.
