New November 2022 security update available for the Galaxy S22 and S10 series in the US

Samsung just released a new November 2022 security update for the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S10 series users in the US.

Samsung Galaxy S22:

Samsung Galaxy S22 series users in the US are now getting the 2nd software update with the November 2022 security patch. The update is available for the users on the T-Mobile network in the country.

Software versions:

  1. Galaxy S22: S901USQU2BVKD
  2. S22 Plus: S906USQU2BVKD
  3. S22 Ultra: S908USQU2BVKD

Samsung Galaxy S10:

Samsung Galaxy S10 series users in the US on the Verizon network are getting the latest November 2022 update.

Software versions:

  • Galaxy S10: G973USQS8IVK1
  • Galaxy S10e: G970USQS8IVK1
  • Galaxy S10+: G975USQS8IVK1

What’s new in the November 2022 security patch?

Samsung’s November 2022 security patch details also mention fixes for dozens of vulnerabilities and exposures. These include 3 critical levels of Google CVEs that were highly harming the system security and privacy and were causing data leaks.

Other than these three, the fresh software update also includes 32 high and 1 moderate level of CVEs and 26 SVE items from Samsung to further increase users’ trust in their phone’s privacy.
