Google Android 14 storage access issue update

Google released stable Android 14 QPR1 with December 2023 security patch 

After several beta versions, Google has finally dropped the Android 14 QPR1 stable update and a big Feature Drop for some Pixel devices. The update comes with several new features and fixes which will offer Pixel phone users an enhanced experience.

As per the details, the features of the Android 14 QPR1 stable update include the ability to force an app into a specific aspect ratio, a new “Metro” lock screen clock, a particle effect when changing wallpapers, and weather information on the Clock app and widget.

In addition, the Pixel Launcher also has some tweaks to the Search preferences and settings shortcut. It further fixes 33 security issues, ranging from moderate to critical, that affect the Android framework, system, kernel, and media framework, to maintain the reliability of devices.

One of the main aspects that the Android 14 QPR1 update brings is the inclusion of the December 2023 security patch. However, the eligible consumers of Pixel devices can download the latest update through Settings > System > Advanced > System update.
