Google messages app will now let you do more with swiping actions feature

Google Messages app

Google’s message app is a very convenient app, instead of using other apps available on the Playstore, the users love to use Androids stock applications. The swiping actions on the app are truly wonderful, they work well with the left and right swipes.

Recently, Google Messages have picked some new tricks that are going to revolutionalize the user experience. Now you can do more with these swiping actions.

Inside the messaging app, there is a facility to change those swiping actions. One of the most interesting parts is that now you can delete the conversation with some more swiping action.

It seems that previous swiping actions will not be removed, and still the left or right swipe will work to archive the present conversations or for just sending a reply to them with a single swipe.

Now there is also an option to disable those swiping actions, in either direction. Currently, it appears to be under development for a long period of time and the timeline is not at all clear when these new swiping actions are going to roll out by the stock messaging Android app developer Google.

Android has recently launched its Android 13 Beta 3.2 and has brought lots of improvements and updates. This will fix some of the gesture issues which were not working on some apps.

We hope that Google could soon bring new and improved swiping actions to the messaging app before the release of the final version of Android 13.
