Google kicks off January 2024 update with various camera and UI fixes

Google has finally dispatched the January 2024 update for its eligible Pixel devices, bringing with it several bug fixes and some improvements. On the other side, Samsung has also begun the rollout of the latest month’s security patch and released the details of the January 2024 update.

According to the information, the fixes of January 2024 update are available for Google Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, 8, and Pixel 8 Pro. Notably, the patch resolves over 55 vulnerabilities, ranging from moderate to critical levels.

The update also brings fixes for some camera and UI-related issues like camera crashes, flashing black screen when playing video, unable to exit Setup Wizard, Wallpaper on the home screen showing black, and more.
