The South Korean tech giant received preorders for seven days from last Tuesday, with perks including a free storage upgrade from 256 GB to 512 GB. Notably, the Galaxy S23 Ultra preorders touch the 650,000 units mark, which is about 60% of total sales, followed by S23 @ 23% and S23 Plus @ 17%.

Last year, the Galaxy S22 series created a new preorder record with 1.01 million units in South Korea. However, this year’s flagship lineup surpassed its predecessor’s milestone, thanks to the upgraded camera capabilities and new innovative features.

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra features a massive 200MP image sensor, which delivers stunning photography features such as Nightography. At the same time, photos captured by the 200MP mode appear lossless, thanks to the innovative ISOCELL HP2 image sensor.
