Galaxy S23, Fold 4 and more Samsung devices join Google ARCore family

Google has recently updated the list of Android devices that support ARCore. A bunch of new Samsung devices, including the flagship Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4 have joined the Google ARCore family.

For your information, the ARCore is a software development kit that allows developers to create augmented reality apps. And, it makes sure that these Augmented Reality apps and games work consistently on all devices.

This certification is issued after testing the device’s camera, CPU, and motion sensors and ensuring that they are working well and are properly calibrated. Many new launches typically gain certification before the launch while some get it within a few months of release.

Samsung Google ARCore devices

Samsung has introduced a bunch of flagship, mid-range, and budget Galaxy smartphones in the last few months, but not all of them came with Google’s ARCore support out of the box.

Fortunately, many of the newly released Samsung devices are now joining the Google ARCore family. You can check if your new Galaxy phone supports it or now below.
