Galaxy S23 users, rejoice! The latest version 1.UI6.1 UI, although it brings attractive AI features and a redesigned look also has one problem – a fingerprint bug. Samsung has already found that task-killing alien, while it’s getting closer. Their solution will work soon.
The problem arises when you use the phone as a wake-up call and expect your phone to respond the same way it does when it is in a password-protected state. Touching it in the right place only hurts. Only by lifting the finger does the button become visible, making another unlocking possible. You cannot deny this statement because it is happening to Galaxy S23 owners.
Samsung insisted on its community forum that this is a software issue and alerted users that they are working on an update. Although an exact date remains missing, it could be included with the April 2024 update that is rolling out to phones including the Galaxy S24 and foldables. And since then, Galaxy S23 users are probably just on their fingers after this, so don’t lose hope, a seamless fingerprint unlocking process is coming soon!
