Is the Galaxy S24 model that uses One UI 6.1 and AI a copy of it except the latest model? While previously, the company limited Galaxy AI to only being available on the S24 and its 2023 series of flagships, a recent hint gives us hope that it could open the door to include more devices.
Samsung is investigating older devices in the Galaxy S22 series to see if any of them can offer AI features. It didn’t specify the language packs being released, but a recent press release said that “across all devices supporting Galaxy AI, additional language packs will be available… as soon as they are released.” Packs will come.”
It includes the words “The Field Rocks” which has fans curious. This could play the role of hinting at the next mobile devices to be released by this brand called Samsung Galaxy AI and people would expect Galaxy AI to reach even the phones that are the oldest.
Adopting new models for Galaxy AI is a technical limitation, which in turn feels artificial. The original Galaxy S23 has the same chip found in the S22 lineup, and so except the S22 enjoys the S23 features. Likewise, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 are excellent devices and they run Galaxy AI smoothly.
This could be the brutality of the hardware that Samsung is offering as an excuse to limit features and encourage updates. The speculation here is that “more coming soon” means access to Galaxy AI for a wider range of devices, not just recent releases.
