Samsung has started seeding the Galaxy XCover 5 smartphones with the fixes and optimizations of the December 2023 update. It’s worth mentioning that the Korean tech giant is also preparing to launch a new rugged phone in the form of Galaxy XCover 7 soon.
The latest security patch will improve the core mechanism of your device and offer enhanced security and stability, ensuring that user’s data and sensitive information remain secure in the rugged device. It will also fix over 60 vulnerability exposures from Google and Samsung.
Besides common improvements and fixes, the latest update didn’t bring any new features for your Galaxy device. Simultaneously, the consumers of Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 will be able to determine the December 2023 update through One UI build version G525FXXSACWK3.
However, the update is live in some Central American markets and will reach more regions in the coming days or weeks. To check and install the update manually, visit your phone’s Settings and tap on Software Update. Now, hit the Download & Install key and follow the onscreen instructions.
