Android Auto can now sync your phone’s wallpaper

Google is releasing a new update for Android Auto which comes with an 11.0 beta version and adds the ability to sync wallpaper of your smartphone. Notably, this new addition will offer a more improved visual of the car display and optimize the overall user experience.

According to the details, this ability to set the phone’s wallpaper on Android Auto doesn’t support live wallpapers or any specialized wallpapers, however, users will only be able to use static images, to give their car screen a modern and distinct look.

This feature works easily means that you don’t need to put any extra effort, the wallpaper that you have set on your phone will instantly show up on your car’s display behind Android Auto’s app drawer. But, it won’t show up behind the dashboard view or anywhere else.

However, this new feature which offers the ability to use your phone’s wallpapers on car display is enabled by default but you can turn it off anytime from Android Auto settings. Accordingly, it is currently in the beta phase and is expected to be available for more users soon.
