3D buildings on Google Maps could soon be shows during navigation

Google Maps Immersive View countries

With the flow of time, Google keeps on making changes and optimizing the functionalities of its various applications, and in recent development, the US tech giant seems to be working on a new feature that will show 3D building on Maps during navigation.

It means the 3D buildings that are shown when you just turn on a layer in the app will now be displayed during navigation on mobile apps and Android Auto. Notably, this feature earlier shows buildings in 3D whether it’s in a city or a smaller area.

To be mentioned, the Google Maps app on Android and iOS has started showing 3D buildings during navigation for some and is expected to roll out for others soon. But make sure that it requires the 3D view to be enabled before navigation starts, and also that you’re zoomed in a fair bit as well.
