There are several ways to perform the backup process on your Galaxy devices and here in this article, we will discuss three processes with the help of which, you will be able to perform the backup and can shorten the chance of data loss.

Samsung account

One of the easiest ways to take backup on your Galaxy device is to backup your important data on your Samsung account, and to do this, a user must have a Samsung account login to the smartphone. Notably, the options may vary by carrier.

How to do 

Open the settings of your phone, now tap on the option Accounts and backup and here you will see two options under Samsung Cloud. First is backup data, which will configure your Samsung account to back up your data. And the second one is to restore data. You can use your Samsung account to restore your backup data.

Google Account

Every smartphone user maintain its Google account because this account enables users to do plenty of things. Users could not have the Samsung account on its Galaxy device but it will definitely have an Google account. So if you are also not having the Samsung account then you can take backup of your data using Google account.

How to do

Head over to the settings of your smartphone, here tap on the accounts and backup option, here you will see Google Drive option. Under Google drive menu, hit on the Back up data, and here its done.

External storage transfer

If you do not want to perform any of the above given process to take backup of your data, then there is one more easy option provided to you with the help of which you can perform the process in an more easy and secure way. That is to take backup using USB storage device, or restore backup data using
Smart Switch.

How to do

From the settings of your smartphone, go to the accounts and backup option, here you will see external storage transfer option. Just tap on it, connect your external device and transfer your whole important data.
