In the recent development, Verizon locked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 started receiving July 2022 security patch update. The update is rolling out in the United States and brings some minor improvements and bug fixes that affect users’ experience.

At the moment, only Verizon is releasing the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 July 2022 update that comes with One UI build version F916USQS2HVF3. However, the company will not let other region users wait for too long to get access to the latest changes.

This July 2022 Android security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 improves the security and stability of its system. In the meantime, it fixes dozens of privacy and security-related vulnerabilities and exploits to enhance the device’s performance in every aspect.

Further, the official support page mentions 3 critical and 20 high levels of CVE and SVE items from Google and Samsung, which are related to Samsung Messages, Samsung Finder, Wearable Manager Installer, Contacts storage, and Knoxguard lock.

To check and download the new update on your Galaxy device, head over to its Settings. From here, tap on Software update followed by the Download and install option. Wait for the device to check available updates and hit the download button. Finally, install the update and reboot your phone.
