T-Mobile releasing second May 2022 security update for Samsung Galaxy S22 in the US

At the end of April,  Samsung released its first May 2022 security patch update for Galaxy S22 series. Later, the company released another May 2022 security update for the devices in India, UAE, Malaysia, and other International markets. Now the company is expanding the 2nd Samsung Galaxy S22 May patch in the US.

The 2nd Samsung Galaxy S22 May patch update is currently available on T-Mobile in the US and users can identify it through the following build version for their respective Galaxy S22 devices.

  • Galaxy S22 – S901USQU2AVE4
  • Galaxy S22+ – S906USQU2AVE4
  • Galaxy S22 Ultra – S908USQU2AVE4

The second May 2022 update enhances the security and stability of your device and includes fixes for two major issues. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra users reported having suddenly disconnecting issues with S Pen in certain scenarios, which have been fixed now.

Additionally, the issue with intermittent video recording while using the camera or third-party app that occurred after installing the first May 2022 security update for some Galaxy S22 users has also been fixed with the latest update.
